Community Archive Workshop

 

In partnership with the History Channel, the Navajo Nation Museum, and the Center for Southwest Research at the University of New Mexico, free workshops are being offered for Navajo Code Talker descendants who want to learn basic skills about archives and caring for family materials. Both workshops are identical. Space is limited, so if you're interested, please sign up for one.

This workshop will offer basic archival practices for Navajo Code Talker descendants interested in learning how to preserve and maintain family collections.

Items to bring with you to the workshop: photographs, paper materials (documents, newspaper articles, letters, pamphlets, etc)

FREE to first 20 participants. Sessions are identical. Sign up for one.
